The Faculty of Engineering and Information Technologies
of University of Sydney is offering Dr Abdul Kalam Postgraduate
Scholarships for international students.
Applications are now open for semester 2 2013 and
Semester 1 2014.
Scholarships are open to all international applicants with an offer
of admission for a Master by coursework program in the Faculty
of Engineering and IT at the time of submitting a scholarship
application.
The scholarships are valued at 50% of the tuition fees for one year
of study in any postgraduate coursework program.
Study Subject(s):
The scholarship is available in any of the course of the Faculty of
Engineering and Information Technologies at postgraduate level.
Course Level:
The scholarship is for pursuing master program in the Faculty of
Engineering and Information Technologies at University of Sydney.

Eligibility:
-The Scholarship shall be open to all international applicants who
have an offer of admission for a Master coursework program in the
Faculty of Engineering and IT at the time of submitting a
scholarship application.
- Applicants must have a firm/unconditional offer of admission by
the relevant scholarship closing date for the appropriate semester.
- Students who have already commenced their postgraduate studies,
or students transferring from other postgraduate programs are not
eligible.
Scholarship Open for Students of Following Countries: International
students can apply for this scholarship.

Duration of award(s):
The duration of scholarship is up to 1 year subject to academic performance.
What does it cover? The Scholarship shall be valued at 50% of the tuition fees for the program and year offered. The student must be enrolled full-time in the Master program, commencing in either semester 1 or semester 2.
Selection Criteria: Selection will be based on academic merit. The scholarship shall be awarded on the basis of a minimum high distinction average or equivalent as indicated by the applicant’s performance in their undergraduate degree.
Notification: Successful candidates will be informed by 7 June 2013 for Semester 2 2013 entry and by 7 December 2013 for Semester 1 2014 entry.

Students can apply online. Applicants must have fully read the
terms and conditions before applying.
Scholarship Application Deadline:
Application Deadline for Semester 2 2013 entry is 31st May 2013
and for Semester 1 2014 entry is 30th November 2013.
Note: All applicants must obtain a firm, unconditional offer before
applying for the scholarship.
